Andrea is a practicing solicitor for over 20 years; specialising since 1998 exclusively in media and entertainment law.

Author of Quick Win Media Law - Answers to Your Top 100 Media Law Questions, a very practical guide to Irish media law in Q&A format written for non-lawyers published in 2011. Available as an e-book from www.oaktreepress.eu (select from the Quick Win series). Also available in App format and in print from good bookshops.

Andrea worked for a number of years as part of the in-house legal team for Ireland's State broadcaster, RTÉ, before returning to private practice in 2003. Andrea also spent some time as in-house solicitor for the Irish-language State broadcaster, TG4.

On the education front Andrea was a part-time lecturer at National University of Ireland Galway and is currently a Legal Trainer at Learning Waves Skillnet, the leading provider of training for the Independent Commercial Radio Sector in Ireland.

Andrea is currently a Consultant with the Media Law Group of Eugene F. Collins, Solicitors in Dublin, advising clients from individuals and independent production companies to large corporations in conventional and digital media-related matters. Andrea also provides guest-lectures and training in media law.

Andrea is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin (BA Legal Science (Hons), Law 1981). She is also a Non-Executive Director of MediaforBuyers™ and a Director of Fís na Maolaoíse Teo t/a Cinemobile, Ireland's first mobile cinema. Andrea is a Member of the Law Society of Ireland and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.
